If you are wondering where on Earth Port Dickson is, well, it is located in Malaysia. It is a beautiful country that is still abounds with bounty of Mother Nature in the form of natural Equatorial forests and lovely beaches.

Malaysia is a country in South East Asia. It is divided into West Malaysia and East Malaysia by the South China Sea. People of various religions, races and nationalities live in peace in this country. The major Malaysian races are Malays, Chinese and Indians. Apart from being rich in tropical rain forests, Malaysia is also gifted with beautiful and white sandy beaches.

One of the most well-known places for its beaches and water sport activities is Port Dickson or PD. It has a string of beaches located along its coastal road. To make things simpler, the PD road is called as first mile, second mile and so forth. So, how do you get to PD?

There are other beaches as well. Depending on your choice of beach, you can swim, sunbathe or enjoy water sport activities. Water sport activities include jet-skiing, parasailing or canoe riding. For food, there are various local ethnic dishes, ranging from fresh seafood to Malaysian delicacies.

Reaching PD is not difficult. If you arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), simply take a train to Seremban. Both Seremban and PD are situated in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. From Seremban, you can take a taxi to PD.

PD is has a wide number of beaches, popular as relaxation spots for tourists and family alike. As a matter of fact, a lot of local people choose and reside at a Port Dickson Hotel for a couple of nights to enjoy the activities and sights of the beautiful beaches and sea creatures. You can have lots of fun swimming, jet-skiing, parasailing or even fishing in this seaside resort town.

It is normally held on Saturday evenings. You can also bargain over some souvenirs to take back home. For a peek at the oldest lighthouse in Malaysia, visit the Rachado Lighthouse, located at the Tanjung Tuan Forest Reserve. If you walk up to the front of the lighthouse, you would be able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Straits of Malacca.
